Deborah has recently retired as Deputy Head Teacher at St Mary’s Primary School. She was also a Specialist Leader of Education, specialising in mathematics, curriculum leadership and closing the gap. She was a solicitor in private practice and Chair of Governors of a north London primary school before training as a primary school teacher 16 years ago. She. has worked in a variety of settings, including the secondary sector, and have been a senior leader for the past 10 years. She is passionate about increasing the life chances of all children and hopes that her role within GET will contribute to that end.
